"You are not just buying a shoe, you are taking a walk in my shoes" - Tebatso Manyama

King Vleis Clothing brand is excited to launch KV1 Sneaker

King Vleis Clothing brand is excited to have successfully launched their first sneaker called the KV1 Sneaker, which is currently available for online orders.

The KV1 Sneaker inspired by the Founder and Philanthropist, Tebatso Manyama who comes from the rural streets of Mohlabaneng in Limpopo.

Tebatso’s story, growing up in the dusty streets of Limpopo with no schools shoes is not unique to our South African audience, but it is a testament that your background does not have to determine how far you can go in life.

Years later Tebatso now owns a brand that gives back to his village in Limpopo through sports and fitness programmes such as the Annual Douglas Manyama Sports Tournament that exists to inspire the youth to get in shape and help them to dream big.

The sneaker was officially launched in April this year and already has tongues wagging in the sports fratenity as seen worn by Oupa “Ace” Manyisa and Brighton Mhlongo.

Media Personality and and Artist Robot Boi has already been spotted wearing the sneaker to TV appearances and Performances as well.

This is a story of workmanship and the pride that goes into one’s journey to success no matter how you start. Behind the name “KING VLEIS” is a story of resilience, patience and breaking barriers.

The SA sneaker industry is a R4 billion a year industry but only 4% of black people own the market share.

King Vleis Sneakers is going to challenge that.

“You are not just buying a shoe, you are taking a walk in my shoes”

– Tebatso “KV” Manyama, CEO King Vleis clothing brand.
