Samke Mhlongo is an acclaimed wellness coach, author of Ringfence and star of SABC 1’s The Queens of Mzansi reality show.

This National Book Week the businesswoman is giving back to the Othandweni Children’s Home in Soweto. Samke’s late father Dr Clive Ntemi Mhlongo, was a medical doctor who spent his life giving care to those less fortunate and especially the children at Othandweni.

In 2014, he built the Othandweni Resource Centre, a legacy his daughter is proud to take even further with her philanthropic work.

On Thursday, 8th of September is International Literacy Day, Samke will be reading her new book Ringfence to the children at Othandweni.

Samke is an advocate for education, having attained her Honours in Financial Planning, and an MBA completed with a dissertation titled Factors contributing to over-indebtedness of Black South African Females.

Samke Mhlongo is the founder of TNC Wealth Partners, a consultancy specializing in employee financial wellness, and published author of “Ringfence”, a financial literacy chick-lit that explores financial and legal themes through the eyes of Africa’s elite.
